reasons I homeschool

The last place we lived the schools were considered excellent. Where I live now they are terrible.
My daughter had terrible allergies. Although she was under the care of an allergest once monthly and had medication she took every day.
She missed 22 days of school.there only allowed to miss 21 but her grades were very good.
They turned me over to defax to "talk to me"
That really urked me.
If I drop my child off at school for early care they dont mind.
My child can have breakfast there, lunch there, snack there. If I arrange for after school care & then have the daycare bus pick my kid up & watch them till 6:30 defax wont call me.
Because leaving your kid with someone
else from 6:30 till 6:30 is being a responsible adult. But because I want my child home when she sick Im irresponsible? Give me a break.
Its about money, the more they feed my kid the more money they get.
If to many children miss to many days they get put on a list (no child left behind) 3 years on the list & they can close a school or at least give everyone the option of attending another school.
They are determined to not leave any child behind they really are trying screw them all up together!
People need to think about were education started & were it is headed.
Remeber the one room school house?
My granfather helped build one & was very proud to give his kids that opportunity. Why is it when the government takes over something it gets so messsed up?
